I read recently that we lag behind most developed countries – 25th place in fact - in using the power of social media to find jobs. According to the survey, conducted by Kelly Global Workforce Index™, only 20% of job seekers use this route. Astounding, you may think, considering the unemployment levels and general adoption of online membership to social websites. The most common reason cited by those surveyed was being compromised because of the sensitivity of the personal content published. Does this mean the Brits are a little more prone to embellishment or projecting a less than ideal image to potential employers than our international counterparts?

makeoverWell, with the speed of change in digital marketing it was inevitable that our online presence, aka website, would get a makeover. We’ve lived with it for years and I suppose it turned into a comfortable old armchair. Sadly, we had to say au revoir - but in the same breathe, bonjour! to our new, fresh interface.
